General Note(s):Case of the widow of William Ferrell whose mineral claim on land in Avery, Idaho was cancelled. The General Land Office said it had not been worked as a mineral claim while Ferrell's widow claimed that construction along the railroad right-of-way had prevented the claim from being mined as necessary.
